This is the official website for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at CSU Dominguez Hills & El Camino College, established as an on-campus organization in 2016 & 2019.
We long to see thriving communities of faith planted in every corner or every campus: communities that believe that to be Christian isn't to give up who we are but rather to step into the fullness of who God has made us to be. We hope to see every gender, ethnicity, major, fraternity, sorority, denomination, and interest group on campus become transformed by the unrelenting love of Jesus Christ. |
So, what can I expect? We love hanging out on campus (when we're not enduring COVID-19), attending crazy conferences, and meeting new people. We also love serving our community and expanding the Kingdom of God by spreading the love He has shown us to others around campus and in our city. No matter where you are at in your spiritual journey, we want you to know that you are welcome here.

Is InterVarsity only at CSUDH & El Camino? We are affiliated with the national movement of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA: an interdenominational campus ministry active on over 600 campuses nationwide.
InterVarsity's mission is to establish and advance witnessing communities on the college campus, and to see students & faculty transformed by God, the entire campus renewed, and world changers developed. To find an InterVarsity chapter at your school click here. |
InterVarsity traces its roots to a movement of British university students in the 1870s. The first InterVarsity chapter in the United States began in 1938 at the University of Michigan. Since InterVarsity was incorporated in 1941, thousands of students have become thoughtful representatives of God's Kingdom and have moved into leadership roles in churches, organizations, corporations & agencies around the world.

The only true God, the almighty Creator of all things,
existing eternally in three persons– Father, Son, and Holy Spirit–full of love and glory. The unique divine inspiration, entire trustworthiness and authority of the Bible. The value and dignity of all people: created in God’s image to live in love and holiness, but alienated from God and each other because of our sin and guilt, and justly subject to God’s wrath. Jesus Christ, fully human and fully divine, who lived as a perfect example, who assumed the judgment due sinners by dying in our place, and who was bodily raised from the dead and ascended as Savior and Lord. |
Justification by God’s grace to all who repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
The indwelling presence and transforming power of the Holy Spirit, who gives to all believers a new life and a new calling to obedient service. The unity of all believers in Jesus Christ, manifest in worshiping and witnessing churches making disciples throughout the world. The victorious reign and future personal return of Jesus Christ, who will judge all people with justice and mercy, giving over the unrepentant to eternal condemnation but receiving the redeemed into eternal life. To God be glory forever. |
Coral Taluban, Ministry Team LeaderCoral joined began working with InterVarsity in 2016 after graduating from CSU Long Beach with a B.A. in Communication Disorders. During her undergrad, God formed her heart for those on the margins of society, urban ministry, and international student ministry. She currently serves as the Ministry Team Leader in the South Bay and helps coach & care for the student chapters at CSU Dominguez Hills and El Camino College.
After bouncing around between the Orange County, the Inland Empire, Long Beach, Coral eventually found her way to the South Bay where she now lives, works, & serves. When she isn't just leading ministry, in her free time you can find Coral enjoying going out into nature, rollerblading at the beach, taking dance classes, and and enjoying many, many movies. Keep your eyes and ears open, because she’s usually singing or dancing, about 90% of the time. She loves attending and serving at Nova Community Church in Torrance, and cannot wait to meet you all! Erin Way, Ministry InternErin currently serves as a Ministry Intern at CSU Dominguez Hills & El Camino College. She graduated from Chapman in 2020 with a B.A. in Business. During her time in college, Erin was involved with InterVarsity as a member and leader discipling students, and helping them to grow a heart for their campus community!
As a Ministry Intern, Erin is eager to continue engaging with students at Dominguez Hills and El Camino, leading them to explore God’s place in their lives and experience His transformational love. She loves helping people discover their Godly passions and potential, and she's super excited to meet you! Whether on campus, or out on the town, you’ll find Erin enjoying ramen/asian foods, watching BTS youtube videos/Korean dramas, or having fun hanging out with her sisters. And if you bring Erin coffee, you will definitely get on her good side! |
